Project Overview
We were asked to help make better use of the attic in this semi-detached home on Quarry Park Road, Cheam. The plan was to create two good-sized bedrooms and a modern bathroom within the roof, giving the family more space to live and grow.
The Brief
The homeowners wanted to expand their living space without increasing the house's footprint. Their priorities were:
- Two bright, usable bedrooms for family or guests
- A well‑appointed bathroom in the loft for convenience and privacy
- A design that feels integral to the home rather than an afterthought
- A build process that kept disruption and cost controlled
Since the roof had enough height and room, converting the loft was the best way to meet these needs.
Our Solution
We turned the unused attic into a practical new top floor with a full loft conversion.

- We added roof windows so both bedrooms and the bathroom get plenty of natural light
